  1. These are the first of my new bead collections. This collection is called Sahara and all of the beads have been made in the same way, but in different colourways and different shapes. This collection is not yet completed and other photographs of Sahara bead sets will be joining these soon.

  2. Some new Reichenbach rods in CoE 94(+/-2) due to arrive next week. The new colours include:

Stiff White (which I thought might be good for dotty beads), Cocos, White Smoke, Opal Brown, Plum Blue, Purple, Reseda Green, Dense Green, Marine Blue, Pale Light Blue, Opal Nile Green, Jade Green, Metallic Emerald Transparent, Cherry Red Extra Transparent, Orange Transparent, Fire Red, Light Orange.

    Iris Collection

Some of the Iris colours are opaque and some are transparent:

Opaque: Iris Dark Brown, Iris Night Blue, Iris Brown Light, Iris Brown, Iris Brown Dark.

Transparent: Iris Violet, Iris Green, Iris Blue, Iris Yellow Light, Iris Amber, Iris Light Blue, Iris Gold, Iris Yellow.

  3. Experimenting with Reichenbach CoE 94(+/-2) Dark Multicolor and Multicolor rods (lampwork cane). Beads before and after being kilned, and beads before and after being etched.  Set one and set two were made with the same glass, but at different times. I'm not sure what I did to achieve such different colours from the same glass, but I think that one set was made on a more neutral flame and the other set were made on a flame with a little more oxyen in it. Set three were made on a neutral flame; I noticed that with the Multicolor if I made the flame hotter the colour became darker.
